We have developed a simple and economical, closed loop system that runs dry air through the engine, removing unwanted moisture. Our custom-made Desiccant-based system uses a Silica Gel that serves as a drying agent to pull moisture out of the engine and captures it in a closed container, greatly reducing the amount of moisture remaining in the engine that could cause corrosion and rust.

 

A digital hydrometer lets the owner see the internal humidity level. Humidity levels can be reduced over 75%, greatly reducing corrosion and rust formation on the engine components. The silica product will change color when it goes from dry to wet, indicating time to “recharge” the drying agent.
